Important Note:

• There are inconsistencies in how BMW factories wire the shift knob assembly
• This means that while the knob wire assemblies are correctly manufactured, an error or difference by BMW will cause Bimmian’s knob to connect or operate properly
• If this is the case we will work with you to correct the BMW factory issue
• The Parking button at the top is non-functioning and does not suppress
• Likewise the side button does not function or suppress when pushed
• The button at the back of the shifter is the only one that functions to select your gear as you would on your OEM shifter

Installation Notes:

• If wiring is unplugged from the various shifter harnesses and the vehicle door is opened, this may interrupt the P-BUS system and cause the parking lights to stay on for long durations afterwards
• A P-BUS system reset my be required
• It is best to reconnect all of the knob wiring before implementing any other electrical vehicle functions to avoid this interrupt
